About Me, Barbara Blakeley
Integrity, Dedication, Commitment, Energy, Experience, Resourcefulness
All these words form the integral core of my being. What most people don’t know is how much fun I am to work with! As a well known spitfire amongst friends and collogues, I’ve been told my ability to “get things done” goes unmatched. Having come from a large and loving family, I learned quickly that it takes flexibility, adaptability, and tenacity to flourish in a high-paced environment.
As a graduate from Utah State University with a BS in Communicative Disorders, I believe strongly in continued education, community involvement, and personal growth. After having lived in various regions of the Midwest, and attending high school in Wiesbaden, Germany, I decided to make San Diego my home where I have resided over the last 20+ years… but who’s counting?!
I hold credentials as a Certified Negotiations Expert (CNE) which gives me an edge in the negotiation process and works to benefit both buyers and sellers. I also have designations as a Certified Distressed Properties Expert (CDPE), making me uniquely qualified to help people “Short” sell their homes, and VAPro, which provides added expertise in helping veterans use their VA eligibility to purchase property. I am a member of the prestigious Agent Leadership Council at Keller Williams Realty and has been a proud member of Business Network Int’l for the past 14 years, where I have consistently served in a leadership capacity. Other organizations I have been involved with over the years include BIA Toastmasters, Landmark Education, and GEMS.
Currently I reside in Del Cerro, where I enjoy all San Diego has to offer. I love gardening, reading, traveling, entertaining, cooking, and sharing fine wine with friends and family. As an avid skier and novice sailor, I live a very full, active and fun lifestyle. With more than 20 years of real estate experience, the thing that thrills me the most is empowering my clients by helping them reach their individual real estate goals, and being able to educate them in ways they can create generational wealth.
